{"id":173,"date":"2021-10-02T11:28:58","date_gmt":"2021-10-02T11:28:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sonycl.com\/blog\/?p=173"},"modified":"2021-10-02T11:28:58","modified_gmt":"2021-10-02T11:28:58","slug":"extension-of-foreign-trade-policy-up-to-31st-march-2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sonycl.com\/blog\/2021\/10\/02\/extension-of-foreign-trade-policy-up-to-31st-march-2022\/","title":{"rendered":"Extension of Foreign Trade Policy up to 31st March 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The DGFT vide Notification No. 33\/2015-2020 dated 28th September, 2021 has further extended the duration of Foreign Trade Policy 2015-2020 (FTP) from 30<sup>th<\/sup> September 2021 to <strong>31<sup>st<\/sup> March 2022<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The following are the major highlights<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The existing Foreign Trade Policy 2015-20 is extended up to <strong>31<sup>st<\/sup> March 2022<\/strong> (Earlier 30<sup>th<\/sup> September 2021)<br><\/li><li>Imports against Advance Authorisations are exempted from Integrated Tax and Compensation Cess up to <strong>31<sup>st<\/sup> March 2022<\/strong> (Earlier 30<sup>th<\/sup> September 2021)<br><\/li><li>Capital goods imported under EPCG Authorisation for physical exports are exempt from IGST and Compensation Cess up to <strong>31<sup>st<\/sup> March 2022<\/strong> (Earlier 30<sup>th<\/sup> September 2021)<br><\/li><li>The imports and\/ or procurement from bonded warehouse in DTA or from international exhibition held in India by an EOU\/EHTP\/STP\/BTP would also remain exempted from IGST and Compensation Cess till <strong>31<sup>st<\/sup> March 2022<\/strong>.
